Korean Biomedical Scientists' Data Sharing and Reuse Survey

This research investigated Korean biomedical scientists' data sharing and reuse intentions. The sample for this research comprised biomedical researchers affiliated with universities and colleges across South Korea. Potential respondents were identified by collecting faculty email addresses from publicly available materials, such as official university webpages associated with biomedical disciplines. These individuals were subsequently contacted and asked to take part in the survey.<br><br>Prior to participant recruitment, the study protocol received approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the authors’ institution. The questionnaire was designed to capture the theoretical variables specified in the research model. Each construct was measured using multiple items evaluated on a five-point Likert-type scale, ranging from 1 (“strongly disagree”) to 5 (“strongly agree”).
