Number of Taiwanese students studying overseas 2012/13-2022/23

In academic year 2022/23, around 56,798 students from Taiwan studied in different countries all over the world. The number of students from Taiwan studying overseas increased gradually until academic year 2019/20, but dropped considerably in academic year 2020/21 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Students from Taiwan studying in Hong Kong, Macao, and mainland China were not included in the statistic.

在2022/23学年度，约56,798名来自台湾的学生在世界各地不同的国家接受教育。自2019/20学年度起，海外留学的台湾学生数量呈现稳步增长趋势，然而由于新冠疫情的影响，2020/21学年度该数量显著下降。统计中未包含在香港、澳门及中国大陆留学的台湾学生。
