Epidemiology of Acinetobacter baumannii from hospital and environmental sources in Nigeria

The overall objective of this project is to determine the burden, molecular epidemiology, and antibiotic susceptibility profiles of A. baumannii in Nigerian hospitals and shared environments and their role in patient management. In addition, to determine the relatedness of the pathogens and their transmission pathway between hospital and non-hospital environments.
