The file numbering system reflects the three divisions. Files relating to the EPA are given the prefix MO/EP followed by a sequential number. National Parks related files have the prefix MO/NP and the Zoological Parks files have the prefix MO/ZP. The initials MO in each of the file numbers indicates 'Minister's Office'.Contained within the files is correspondence from members of the public, industry and other government departments relating to issues within the Minister's portfolio and responses to the correspondence provided by Pam Allan's office. In addition, documentation relating to the preparation of Cabinet submissions and Ministerial briefing notes can also be found in these files.Issues covered by the EP files include waste management, noise, air and water pollution, development, chemical usage, mining, energy usage and climate change.
