Energy Performance Observatory

The energy performance observatory collects data from the standardised summaries of thermal studies (RSET) submitted on [rt-batiment.fr](https://www.rt-batiment.fr/batiments-neufs/reglementation-thermique-2012/generation-des-attestations-rt2012.html) in order to obtain a certificate of conformity. Thermal studies are mandatory for all new buildings following the implementation of the 2012 thermal regulations (so-called RT2012). The available data is a summary of what is contained in the TFSRs. They are anonymised before being integrated into the observatory. The thermal studies submitted on the _rt-batiment_ site represent only a part of the new building projects carried out in France and in no way claim to be exhaustive. Since thermal studies are carried out at a very early stage, there may be several successive studies for the same construction project, depending on the development of the project management guidelines and the progress of the project.
