资源简介:
IgE-mediated food allergies are multifactoral diseases in which allergen exposure, host genetics, microbiome composition and environment combine to modulate disease susceptibility and progression. Using a previously described murine model of food allergy to egg, we investigated the impact and interplay of these factors in the development and severity of the anaphylactic response to ovalbumin (OVA) in sensitized animals. Distinct changes in the intestinal microbiome correlate with the development and severity of the anaphylactic response (such as diarrhea).
