2025 NSF PI Meeting CC* Poster

The project successfully deployed a new high-performance computing (HPC) system and integrated it into the existing cyberinfrastructure at USC’s Center for Advanced Research Computing (CARC). In collaboration with the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) and the Los Nettos Consortium, the effort significantly expanded access to advanced research computing for under-resourced universities across Southern California and strengthened contributions to the national Open Science Grid.The enhanced cyberinfrastructure has increased regional computational capacity and deepened institutional collaboration within the Southern California research ecosystem. Researchers across multiple campuses are now leveraging cutting-edge computing resources and benefiting from dedicated user support, gaining valuable experience in HPC that supports ongoing advancements in research, education, and workforce development.Building on this foundation, the initiative is poised to foster even stronger scientific partnerships and accelerate innovation through continued cross-campus collaboration and knowledge exchange. USC is now well-positioned to grow as a leading hub for computational research, driving broader impact across disciplines and expanding opportunities for discovery and collaboration nationwide.
