The present research aimed to investigate the effects of different percentages of replacement of fishmeal with Tenebrio molitor (TM) meal in the diet of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) on gut and skin microbiota. for that porpuse two diets were formulated with increasing levels of inclusion of partially defatted TM meal to replace 0% (TM0) and 100% (TM100) of FM.The feeding trial lasted 22 weeks. At the end of the trial, six fish/diet were sampled. The skin microbiota was obtained by gentle scraping of fish body with a cotton swab, whereas the gut autochthonous microbiota was obtained by scraping the mucosa of the entire intestine.
