Transcriptome analysis of U87 cells upon LINC00152 knockdown

To understand the global changes in genes expression after knockdown of LINC00152, we compared transcriptomes of control cells (treated with siGL2) and LINC00152 knockdown cells (treated with si00152). U87 cells were transfected during two rounds of transfection. First, cells were reverse transfected with a combination of two LINC00152 siRNAs or a nonspecific siGL2 control siRNA using Lipofectamine RNAiMAX transfection reagent. 24 hours later, a second round of transfection was performed using the same reagents. 24 hours after the final transfection, cells were harvested and used for library preparation.
