This study systematically investigates the mechanical properties of root-soil complexes under varying soil types and root conditions, based on triaxial tests conducted on root-soil complexes in the Longxi River Basin. Multiple key parameters of the root-soil complexes, including shear strength, deformation characteristics and pore structure, were experimentally measured, and the impacts of different factors on their mechanical performance were analyzed. The findings reveal that plant roots exert a significant influence on the mechanical behavior of soil, providing valuable references for geological engineering and ecological conservation.
