Extracellular vesicles released by gut bacteria serve as molecular messengers, facilitating communication between bacteria and between bacteria and human cells. In this study, we isolated extracellular vesicles from fecal samples of healthy individuals and COVID-19 patients and conducted 16S rRNA genome sequencing analysis to determine the bacterial origins of these vesicles.
