This dataset comprises 28 sampling plots of Schrenk’s spruce (Picea schrenkiana) forests surveyed in 2004 and 2006, containing 1443 records of arbor individuals and 1103 records of understory vegetation. It is primarily designed to characterize the plant community structure, diversity, and timber volume of the Schrenk’s spruce forests in the Xinjiang Tianchi Bogda National Nature Reserve, along with other relevant ecological indicators. This dataset can serve as a baseline for the 2000s to facilitate studies on changes in plant community structure, diversity, and timber volume within the study region.
