Divorced population in Iceland 2013-2023

The total number of divorcees in Iceland increased from 2013 to 2023. In 2013, 20,000 people were registered as divorced, compared to nearly 24,000 in 2023. Of these, 21,000 were registered as divorced singles, whereas 3,000 had the status of divorced living in a consensual union.
