资源简介:
The goal of this study is to investigate the therapeutic potential of Akkermansia muciniphila (AKK) in the treatment of sepsis associated encephalopathy. Sepsis induced brain injury is a major complication with high morbidity and limited treatment options. AKK, as a next generation probiotic, has shown benefits in improving gut barrier function, reducing systemic inflammation, and producing metabolites that may support brain health. By administering live AKK to mice with sepsis, this study aims to explore whether modulation of the gut brain axis can alleviate neurological damage, providing new insights and a potential therapeutic approach for sepsis related brain disorders.
