A national soil organic carbon density dataset (2010-2024) using ensemble modelling based pedotransfer functions in China

We present a comprehensive Soil Organic Carbon Stock (SOCS) database for China, compiled from 24,095 soil samples (8,339 soil profiles) using ensemble modelling-based pedotransfer functions. The database includes: Soil layer depths (upper_depth and lower_depth in cm), Geographic coordinates (GPS_LAT, GPS_LONG) and Modelling method details.This dataset is asscoated to the "A national soil organic carbon density dataset (2010-2024) using ensemble modelling based pedotransfer functions in China" by Chen et al.
