Transcriptomic profiling of different clinically staged EMPD specimens

Extramammary Paget’s disease (EMPD) is a rare cutaneous adenocarcinoma that originates in apocrine gland-rich skin and frequently progresses to invasive and metastatic stages. The molecular drivers underlying its aggressive behavior remain poorly characterized, hindering the development of targeted therapies. We performed transcriptomic profiling of 40 clinically staged EMPD specimens, including adjacent non‑tumor, intraepidermal, invasive, and metastatic lymph node tissues.
