Meta-analysis:Does cryopreservation uniformly affect the DNA fragmentation rate of spermatozoa of men with different states of spermatogenesis?

The primary data of the meta-analysis of the study on the effect of the cryopreservation method (a method of rapid cooling and vitrification) on the occurrence of DNA damage in spermatozoa of men with different stages of spermatogenesis are presented. Methods. The search was carried out in the Medline, Embase, PubMed and Google Scholar databases. The article analyzed 52 studies that were presented in 32 scientific articles. The data analyzed included sample sizes and outcome measures with mean and standard deviations. The measurement results were converted to SMD with 95% CI. Heterogeneity was assessed using the I2 statistic. Statistical analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 (statistical method – Inverse Variance).
