Fishing Effort Maps Based on Commercial Fishing Logbook Data - South Australia 2006-2010 and 2011-2015

This data contains summaries of South Australia non-confidential logbook data on effort distribution for South Australian commercial fisheries in state marine waters. The logbook data has been recorded and submitted to South Australian Research and Development Institute by commercial fishers.The data are aggregated to produce summaries of total effort by fishing activity or method, over 5 year periods and where 5 boats or more operate. All effort information has been removed for areas where less than 5 boats operate.The 5 year period (2011-2015) corresponds to State of Environment (SoE) Reporting, required under the EPBC Act 1999.
