This series comprises the documentation collected or created by the Joint Select Committee on Drainage (VA 4053) in the course of its inquiry into the adequacy of statutory provisions relating to drainage.This series contains a range of documents created or collected by the Committee in the course of the inquiry. These are:-* Minutes of meetings spanning the life of the Committee.* Background papers comprising copies of printed material, reports etc gathered by the Committee in the course of initial research about the body to be reviewed.* Correspondence files relating to either the actual investigation or organisational aspects of the inquiry.* Submissions tended by individuals or organisations during the investigation stating their views on the issues concerned.* Transcripts of public hearings held as part of each inquiry.* Reports including the final printed copy of the final and progress reports presented to Parliament containing the Committee's findings and recommendations.
