Polystyrene nano- and microplastic particles induce an inflammatory gene expression profile in neural stem cell-derived astrocytes

Cellular uptake and cytotoxicity data from neural cells treated with microplastics were compared and contrasted. Transcriptomic data obtained by RNA-seq from astrocytes treated with microplastics was assessed further. Overall design: Compare and contrast cellular uptake and cytotoxicity data for various neural cells and compare trascriptomics data between control- and microplastic-treated astrocytes using RNA-seq.
