Boesenbergia rotunda Transcriptome. Boesenbergia rotunda

Boesenbergia rotunda is a medicinal plant from the Zingiberaceae family and is commonly used as food ingredient and traditional medicine in Southeast Asia and China. Panduratin A extracted from Boesenbergia rotunda is a flavonoid that has been reported to poses a range of medicinal indications which includes anti-dengue, anti-HIV, anti-cancer, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Hence our project is to study flavonoid pathway in Boesenbergia rotunda by transcriptome sequencing and gene expression.
