资源简介:
Endangered pallid sturgeon (Scaphirhynchus albus) manual fish tracking points were mapped on the Missouri River between Waverly, Missouri and Miami, Missouri. A multibeam bathymetric survey was conducted, mapping four separate areas, covering 19 manual fish tracking locations from Missouri River mile 282 to Missouri River mile 279. Velocity data were collected using an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) with real-time kinematic Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) receiver and a real-time correction network. Velocity transects were centered on the manual fish tracking points at a 10-meter spacing through the reach. A total of 48 velocity transects were collected. The discharge at the U.S. Geological Survey Streamflow gaging station 06895500, 10 miles upstream at Waverly, Missouri on September 10, 2025 was 1,303 cubic meters per second. This dataset includes: Raw ASCII ADCP data, a depth averaged velocity transect shapefile, and maps of both depth and elevation covering four habitat patches used by pallid sturgeon, through a 1.4 kilometer-long reach in a bend of the Missouri River.
