Survey and discussion data extracted in an experimental setting, using pre, post and in-game surveys to find changes in attitude on uncertainty and infer learning effects. The experimental setting involved 55 students playing a serious game based on the NL2120 vision in which they take the role of civil servant, and are challenged to create ex-post pathways. The goal is to learn about uncertainty. Contains in addition to the multiple-choice, scale based ratings and open answers, a post-game discussion script. Additionally, on the quantitative data (multiple-choice and scale based ratings), we used statistical tests to find significance. Together they support the results and conclusions for the paper: Gaming the Unknown: Learning to differentiate and respond to uncertainty through a serious game.

本数据集为实验场景下采集的调研与讨论数据,通过事前、事后及游戏内三类调研问卷,旨在探究参与者对不确定性的态度变化并推断其学习效果。本次实验共有55名学生参与,受试者将在一款基于NL2120愿景开发的严肃游戏中扮演公务员,并需完成事后路径构建任务,该游戏的核心教学目标为帮助参与者学习应对不确定性的相关方法与知识。本数据集除涵盖选择题、量表评分题与开放式问答内容外,还附带游戏后讨论脚本。此外,针对其中的量化数据(选择题与量表评分题),我们通过统计检验验证了其显著性水平,上述所有数据共同支撑了论文《Gaming the Unknown: Learning to differentiate and respond to uncertainty through a serious game》的研究结果与结论。
