This dataset originates from China's Second National R&D Resources Census, with data collected in 2009. It includes multiple tabular datasets covering patent status of R&D activity units, other outputs of R&D activities, R&D personnel, full-time equivalent (FTE) of R&D personnel, national research and development institutions classified by service industry, and above-designated-size R&D projects (subjects) classified by service industry, among other items. The data was obtained from the National Bureau of Statistics of China, and the dataset is stored in Excel format.
