Data generated during studies the impact of 10-gingerol (10-G) on model membranes of mammalian cells. The raw experimental dataset consists of results from measurements in Langmuir monolayer systems and lipid bilayers (liposomes). The data contain recorded surface pressure (π) - molecular area (A) isotherms obtained using the NIMA Langmuir trough equipment with total area 300cm2. The selected dataset also includes the values of excess molecular areas and compressibility coefficients calculated based on π/A isotherms. The files were saved in opju format. opju file names are consistent with the lipid composition of the model membrane. Furthermore, the properties of investigated membranes with 10-gingerol examined using Brewster's angle microscopy. The measurements were carried out using UltraBAM instrument by Accurion. The images were processed for noise reduction using Accurion_Image sofware. Adittionally, the images were converted using PowerPoint tools (cropping and scaling). The files were saved in pptx format. pptx file names are consistent with the lipid composition of the model membrane. Moreover the selected dataset regards the impact of 10-gingerol on lipid bilayers. The opju files contain a summary of data from measurements of steady-state anisotropy of DPH and calcein release from the interior of liposomes. The measurements were conducted using Hitachi 7100 spectroflorimeter. The Further, the docx file presents the values of the average hydrodynamic diameters and the zeta potential of liposomes for selected multicomponent model membranes using Malvern Zetasizer Ultra instrument.
