Kitasatospora sp. NE20-6 genome project

Kitasatospora sp. NE20-6. This strain has unique aminotransferase activity. This strain was isolated from soil. This bacterium that we discovered based on the activity. Aminotransferases or transaminases are a group of enzymes that catalyze the interconversion of amino acids and oxoacids by transfer of amino groups. Aspartate aminotransferase, and alanine aminotransferase are the two aminotransferases of greatest clinical significance. The genomic DNA of this bacterium was purified using a kit ; Monofas gDNA Bacteria extraction kit VII. The draft genome of this bacterium was deciphered by Illumina's MySeq system. The purpose of this study is to decipher the genome of Kitasatospora sp. NE20-6 and identify the gene of the enzyme having the desired activity.
