Developing a GTseq panel for individual identification and evaluating application for native and transplanted Sitka black-tailed deer populations

This repository contains datasets for the manuscript Developing a GTseq panel for individual identification and evaluating application for native and transplanted Sitka black-tailed deer populations which has been accepted for publications in Conservation Genetics. We provide VCF files of partially filtered tissue and fecal sample genotypes, associated metadata, and the data processing scripts and R markdown script for data analysis and visualization which can also be found on Github: elisestacy/Sitka-black-tailed-deer-GTseq: Assessing the application of a Sitka black-tailed deer GTseq SNP panel across Alaska and Haida Gwaii, B.C.. We cannot share exact sample location data and this has been omitted from the metadata sheets.
