Enhancing the Inactivation of Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria using Light-Activated Silver Nanoparticles: Investigation of Silver Ion Release

This project evaluated the mechanism of inactivation of antibiotic-resistant bacteria using silver nanoparticle-porphyrin conjugates. Emphasis was given to maximized silver ion release. The origin of the MDR E. coli Isolate used in this study is given in detail in another study (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.wroa.2021.100119).
