This series of paper-based records comprises subject files maintained by former Prime Minister J M (Malcolm) Fraser in his capacity as opposition spokesman on labour matters (sometimes referred to as industrial relations) during the Whitlam Labor Government. The series mainly covers the period from August 1973 until March 1975, when Fraser replaced Snedden as Leader of the Opposition, although several files include earlier papers.
