资源简介:
The process of data collection using functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) involves placing sensors with both a light source and detector on the scalp, typically spaced 3 to 5 centimeters apart. The light source emits infrared light that passes through the scalp and skull, while the detector captures the scattered light, providing insight into brain activity. In our study, participants wore a full-brain cap embedded with fNIRS sensors to measure oxygenated (HbO) and deoxygenated hemoglobin (HbR) levels, which reflect brain activity during cognitive tasks. Data was collected over five sessions, each with five trials. Cognitive load was categorized as high (HCL), medium (MCL), or low (LCL). During each trial, data was recorded at 8 Hz, generating eight data points per second. The trial structure included a 3-second fixation cross, a 30-second question period, a 15-second response period, and a 10-second rest period. The fNIRS data was saved in Excel format for further analysis. Here , we are providing only one sample dataset for illustrative purposes, focusing on a subset of the collected data to showcase the approach used for cognitive load assessment
