资源简介:
In 2009 a national assessment was carried out, which was commissioned by the Flemish government, to assess the extent to which students have achieved the attainment targets for mathematics at the end of the first grade of secondary education (A-stream). Data were collected through 10 written tests covering 4 domains: (1) number sense, (2) algebra, (3) data and (4) geometry. A representative sample of 3257 students from 91 Flemish secondary schools participated. Tests were supplemented with background questionnaires for students, parents, teachers and school leaders. The student questionnaire included questions about their family situation and their perceptions of mathematics classes. The parent questionnaire collected information on their child, family situation and involvement in the school. Teachers were, among other things, questioned about classroom practices, didactic aspects of mathematics classes and the school. School leaders received questions on school policies and the school's vision. The response rates to these questionnaires were 99% for the students and 96% for the parents, teachers and school leaders.
