One-third of global lake nitrous oxide emissions are concentrated in the northern temperate zone (40°N–50°N)

This repository contains the datasets associated with the study “One-third of global lake nitrous oxide emissions are concentrated in the northern temperate zone (40°N–50°N)”. The archive includes the GLON2O lake N2O observation database, the processed GSLAKES v1.0 small-lake dataset, and global lake water-quality variables used for emission modeling and upscaling. The original SARL, GLAKES, and HydroLAKES datasets are not redistributed here and should be obtained from their original repositories. Users should cite the associated manuscript and the original source datasets when reusing these data.
