Brazil: açaí berry production 2022, by state

In 2022, Pará was by far the leading açaí berry producing state in Brazil, with approximately 1.6 million metric tons produced. This accounted for 94 percent of the country's açaí production that year. The fruit, native of South American rainforests, is considered a superfood, and is popularly used for smoothie bowls.
