Human Taenia solium age-prevalence datasets

Human Taenia solium age-prevalence datasets for fitting catalytic models to estimate seroconversion/infection acquisition rates (force-of-infection) and seroreversion/infection loss rates. Model code can be found at: https://github.com/mrc-ide/human_tsol_FoI_modelling The first dataset includes age-(sero)prevalence data from studies identified in the systematic review (paper submitted to journal) including human taeniasis and human cysticercosis antibody and antigen (sero)prevalence data.Original data for certain datasets available (under the Creative Commons Attribution License; CC BY 4.0) from theInternational Livestock Research Institute open-access repository (http://data.ilri.org/portal/dataset/ecozd) referenced in Holt et al. (2016) and University of Liverpool open-access repository (http://datacat.liverpool.ac.uk/352/) referenced in Fèvre et al. (2017) The second dataset includes age-seroprevalence data from the Flórez Sánchez et al. (2013) human cysticercosis antibody serosurvey (permission granted from the Instituto Nacional de Salud, Colombia); this is included as a separate file given the large number of data rows (age-prevalence data from 24 Departments).
