"Perturbations in gut-liver axis functions are associated with chemotherapy-induced nausea and fatigue in patients with breast cancer": Cytokine, Chemokine, and Metabolomic data

Stool and serum metabolomics were performed at The Metabolomics Innovation Center (TMIC) at University of Alberta for targeted quantitative metabolomics to identify and determine the concentrations of over 600 metabolites. Details of the assay procedure are published.45 All the samples were normalized to a concentration of 259μmol/g. Data was analyzed with MultiQuant Version 3.0.3.46 The Mayo Clinic Immunochemistry Core processed plasma samples on Cytokine Panel 1 and Chemokine Panel 1 for testing cytokines and chemokines on immunoassay plates from Meso Scale Discovery (MSD, Rockville, MD). The signal intensity is directly proportional to the concentration of the cytokines and chemokines, as determined by a standard curve.
