Gay Community Periodic Survey: Sydney February 2011

Data were collected on types of sexual relationships and number of partners, anal and oral intercourse, unprotected anal intercourse, testing for HIV and other STIs, HIV serostatus, recreational drug use, and demographic characteristics such as sexual identity and age. Sample Population: 3,194 gay and homosexually-active men from Sydney. Method of Data Collection: Self-completion. Kind of Data: Survey. Sampling Procedures: Men were recruited through twenty data collection sites which included gay social venues (bars and gyms), sex-on-premises venues, sexual health clinics and Fair Day (part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras).
