"Development and Validation of the AI Digital Betrayal Scale: A Cross-Disciplinary Investigation in Higher Education"

This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Development and Validation of the AI Digital Betrayal Scale: A Cross-Disciplinary Investigation in Higher Education." The dataset contains anonymized survey responses collected from participants in higher education institutions for the development and psychometric validation of the AI Digital Betrayal Scale (AIDBS). Variables include demographic characteristics, responses to AI Digital Betrayal Scale items, and related constructs used to assess reliability and validity, including exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. All personally identifiable information has been removed to protect participant confidentiality. The dataset is provided to support the reproducibility and transparency of the analyses reported in the associated manuscript.
