Acidimicrobiia in coastal marine sediments: abundance, taxonomy and genomic potential

6 marine sediment samples were collected from a costal station in Isfjorden, Svalbard (78.11?N 14.35?E) on between December 2017 and April 2022. All samples were taken from the oxic layer of the sediment, in the first centimetres of the seafloor. DNA was extracted according to Zhou et al., 1996. Sequencing was done at the Max Planck Sequencing Centre in Cologne, Germany using a PacBio HiFi sequencing technology.
