The soil sample was obtained from a paddy field in Long'an County, Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China, an area that has been dedicated to rice cultivation for over 20 years. The soil is characterized as brownish-yellow paddy soil, typical of karst regions. Its main physical properties as follows: pH 6.8, SOC 1.95%, total nitrogen (TN) 0.19%, total phosphorus (TP) 0.7 g kg-1, available phosphorus (AP)19.4 mg kg-1, and available potassium (AK) 161.0 mg kg-1. Microbial samples were collected from soil samples at 13, 50, and 123 days of incubation.
