This dataset supports the Ph.D. thesis “Clarifying the relationship between science teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge and student learning outcomes”. It contains data collected from teachers’ two types of PCK test (video-based and test-based tests) for two biology topics in the pilot study and main study, student assessments for two topics in the pilot study and main study, teacher interviews in the pilot study and main study as well as the ethical approval application form. With the obtained data, the study provides robust empirical evidence that clarifies the relationship between science teachers’ PCK and student learning.

本数据集支持博士论文《阐明科学教师教学内容的认知与学生学习成果之间的关系》。其中包含了在试点研究和主研究中针对两个生物学主题的教师两种类型的PCK测试(基于视频和基于测试的测试)数据、针对两个主题的试点研究和主研究中的学生评估数据、试点研究和主研究中的教师访谈数据,以及伦理审批申请表。通过所获得的数据,本研究提供了关于科学教师PCK与学生学习之间关系的坚实实证证据。
