This co-simulation is based on the Spinetoolbox, its purpose is to combine the strengths of 2 agent-based models (ABM), EMLabpy and AMIRIS to analyze market designs, such as capacity remuneration mechanisms.EMLabpy is an ABM that simulates myopic energy generation investment decisions. AMIRIS (Agent-based Market model for the Investigation of Renewable and Integrated energy Systems) captures the bidding of agents in the day-ahead market.
