On July 28, 2019, we conducted an air photo survey from a helicopter flying at an altitude of 500-800 m above the glacier (~1100-1200 m a.s.l) to create an orthomosaic and DEM of the glacier surface using the Structure from Motion technique, following the methodology of Thomson and Copland (2016). We flew the helicopter in sets of parallel lines spaced ~250 m apart across two different sections of the glacier: eight lines were SW-NE trending, parallel to the main trunk of the glacier. Another nine lines were SE-NW trending, approximately perpendicular to the previous flight path and extending from the southern end of Thores Lake to the northwest edge of the glacier terminus.
