we adapted SMRT sequencing technology to transcriptome sequencing in G. hirsutum TM-1 and G. barbadense Hai7124, pooling ten tissues at different developmental stages (root, stem, leaf, flower, 0, 5, 10 and 20 DPA ovules and 10 and 20 DPA fibers, respectively. Then, we identify genome-wide transcripts of cotton and uncover expressed difference at transcript level between G. hirsutum TM-1 and G. barbadense Hai7124.
