为了检验归一化水指数(NDWI)模型、FAI (Floating Algae Index)和波段差值模型分别在反演MODIS数据水体中的精度和适用性,作者选取了青海湖、纳木错、鄱阳湖、阿雅克库木湖、乌梁素海等5个湖泊作为验证湖,通过三种模型分别计算出湖水面积,然后,采用与MODIS同日( -1天)的Landsat TM/ETM 数据进行验证,获得验证数据集。该数据集可以反映在不同湖泊类型中MODIS数据反演的3种模型的适用性。数据集包括:(1)用于提取水体的MOD09数据的日期和用于验证的Landsat TM/ETM 数据的日期(表1);(2)不同方法提取的五个湖泊湖面面积统计数据(表2);(3)MODIS基础上不同方法提取的五个湖泊空间分布数据和Landsat TM/ETM 基础上提取的、用于验证的湖泊空间分布数据。数据集存储为.xlsx, .shp和.tiff格式。压缩后数据量为6.01MB。该数据集的分析研究成果发表在《遥感信息》2015年30卷第1期。

To verify the accuracy and applicability of the Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) model, the Floating Algae Index (FAI) and the band difference model in retrieving water bodies from MODIS data, the authors selected five lakes including Qinghai Lake, Namtso, Poyang Lake, Ayakekumu Lake and Wuliangsuhai Lake as validation lakes. The lake surface areas were calculated separately using the three models, and validation was conducted using Landsat TM/ETM data acquired within 1 day of the corresponding MODIS data, thus obtaining the validation dataset. This dataset can reflect the applicability of the three models for retrieving water bodies from MODIS data across different lake types. The dataset includes: (1) The dates of MOD09 data used for water body extraction and the dates of Landsat TM/ETM data used for validation (Table 1); (2) Statistical data on the lake surface areas of the five lakes extracted using different methods (Table 2); (3) Spatial distribution data of the five lakes extracted using different methods based on MODIS data, as well as the lake spatial distribution data extracted based on Landsat TM/ETM data for validation purposes. The dataset is stored in .xlsx, .shp and .tiff formats. The compressed data size is 6.01 MB. The analytical research findings based on this dataset were published in *Remote Sensing Information*, Volume 30, No. 1, 2015.
