Specific objectives of this investigation were as follows:
• Plan and develop experiment parameter sets to investigate anomalous nucleation events in zirconium samples during ISS-EML experiments
• Analyze cavitation-induced nucleation experiments on zirconium and zirconium-nickel alloys
• Analyze fluid flow during ISS-EML experiments to support collaborators investigations
• Continue flight preparations and development of experimental parameter sets for upcoming experiments in Batch 3
• Provide magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) modeling support of macroconvection in various materials for three ESA sponsored projects: PARSEC, THERMOLAB - ISS, ICOPROSOL.
