Data and replication code for "Evidence quality in mangrove wetland management: storm-loss records, typhoon exposure, and blue-carbon accounting in coastal China

This repository contains the processed data, audit tables, figure data, supplementary diagnostic outputs, and replication scripts supporting the manuscript “Evidence quality in mangrove wetland management: storm-loss records, typhoon exposure, and blue-carbon accounting in coastal China.” The dataset covers 38 mangrove-relevant coastal counties in China from 2007 to 2019 and links mangrove extent, protection status, protection-timing confidence, typhoon-track exposure, storm-loss evidence tiers, and blue-carbon accounting indicators. Storm-loss evidence is provided with provenance and evidence-quality labels, including strict observed records, official/archive candidates, augmented and allocated records, and proxy-composite indicators. Blue-carbon values are accounting indicators rather than realized revenue. The package is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and peer review.
