Dataset for confined cancer cell migration in microfluidic devices featuring repetitive constrictions. Two immortalized cancer cell lines with metastatic potential were analyzed: A549 cells, an established commercial lung cancer cell line, and PACA cells, derived directly from the metastatic neuroblastoma of a patient. Both cell types were transfected with a plasmid encoding the H2B-GFP fusion protein to reliably image in real-time chromatin dynamics within the cell nucleus. Nuclear morphology, chromatin condensation and chromatin cluster distribution were studied under repetitive confinement in this work.
