THE HARMONY OF HUSNI TA'LIL AND IRFANI THOUGHT IN THE WORKS OF MIRZO ABDULQODIR BEDIL
收藏资源简介:
This thesis examines the relationship between husni ta’lil (the art of poetic causation) and irfan (mystical knowledge) in the literary heritage of Mirzo Abdulqodir Bedil (1644–1720), a prominent representative of the Indo-Persian poetic tradition. It explores how Bedil transforms conventional rhetorical techniques into instruments of philosophical reflection and spiritual inquiry. Particular attention is given to the poet’s use of metaphor, paradox, imaginative causation, and symbolic representations of existence. The study argues that the harmony between rhetorical beauty and mystical thought enables Bedil to present the visible world as a means of contemplating deeper metaphysical realities. His poetry demonstrates how artistic imagination can transcend the description of external phenomena and become a vehicle for exploring the relationship between the human being, the universe, and the Divine.
