1995~2020 fused land use/land cover (LULC) datasets

This dataset is a fused land use/land cover (LULC) product for Northeast China, covering the years 1995 to 2020 at five-year intervals. It includes Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning Provinces, as well as four cities in eastern Inner Mongolia. The dataset was constructed by integrating three original LULC datasets from the European Space Agency, the Resource and Environmental Science Data Platform, and the publicly published study by Yang and Huang (2021). Land use types are classified into seven categories, with a spatial resolution of 250 m and a projection based on WGS 1984 UTM Zone 51N. A decision-level fusion rules. Compared to the original datasets, the fused dataset improved classification accuracy by up to 21.8%. This dataset provides a more reliable foundation for long-term, large-scale studies related to land use in Northeast China.
