Accompanying survey data for "How accessible is Cybersecurity Training? A survey on the accessibility, capabilities, and technology stack of Cyber Ranges"

These are the results of the survey conducted as part of the study "How accessible is Cybersecurity Training? A survey on the accessibility, capabilities, and technology stack of Cyber Ranges". The data consists of PDF files which are the exported questionnaires of the participants, and the cumulated data as CSV and MS Excel files, including a codebook. The survey was conducted from July to November 2024. The questionnaire was hosted on the UniBw M's online survey platform SoSci survey. The goal of the study was to investigate the accessibility of cybersecurity training, especially regarding the technology stack and automation capabilities employed by Cyber Ranges. Therefore, the questionnaire has been designed. It covered questions across eight categories, namely, 1) Deployment Model, 2) Product Access, 3) Platform Access, 4) Training Content, 5) Supervision, 6) Includable Platforms, Systems and Software, 7) Training Evaluation and Learning Outcomes, and 8) Ease of Onboarding – Tools and Platform Adoption
